Throughout the city you’ll find reminders of America’s past, from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell to many sites related to Benjamin Franklin, one of the city’s most famous residents. Today Philadelphia is a vigorous, modern metropolis with a full range of attractions from world-class museums to major sports teams to diverse ethnic neighborhoods.
You can also easily explore nearby Manhattan, since New York City is just 90 minutes away. And don’t forget Philadelphia’s famous contributions to cuisine, like the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and the soft pretzel!

FLS is located on the campus of Chestnut Hill College in northwest Philadelphia’s quaint Chestnut Hill neighborhood. A private Catholic school, the college was founded in 1924 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
