Glasgow School of English

The School was established in 1997 and since then we have developed an excellent reputation for providing quality English language tuition in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Every year we help hundreds of students improve their English language skills and achieve their academic or career goals.
The School is British Council accredited, ISO9001 certified and is also a member of English UK and the International Association of Language Centres (IALC). This is an association of independent language schools that teach the language of their home country. The quality of IALC member schools is guaranteed through minimum standards, regular inspection, a code of ethics and a philosophy of continuous improvement.
We are strongly committed to ensuring our quality standards are met and that each and every student enjoys their stay. Our reputation is founded on both the quality of our teaching and the level of personal care and attention that we provide to each of our students. Many of our students come back to study at the school or send their friends and family. The number of personal recommendations is very high.
We offer a range of courses all year round and you can choose to study from as little as one week to one year or more. You can also participate in regular social and cultural events which include local sightseeing trips. Recent trips have included visits to local sights such as the Glasgow Art Fair, Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, George Square Ice Skating Rink, the Burrell Collection and discounted sightseeing trips to further destinations such as the Scottish Highlands, Loch Lomond and Millport.
Whatever your requirements, our friendly staff are on hand to assist you and ensure that you enjoy your stay in Glasgow.
