The Emerald Cultural Institute has had over twenty-five years of experience in providing quality language, professional development and cultural programmes to groups and individuals of all ages and from more than 50 countries worldwide. As learners’ needs changed, we developed a sophisticated range of courses to meet those needs; academic year programmes, university pathway and examination preparation courses, tailor-made specialised programmes for groups and individuals, blended learning and in-service courses for teachers, training through English.

During summer months, programmes are held in our year-round school and in a variety of other suitable locations. For junior students attending a summer programme, our summer centres are modern complexes set in their own extensive grounds. All centres are located in quiet well-established residential areas, yet are within easy reach of Dublin city centre by bus and tram.

The campus at Marino Institute of Education consists of beautiful, classically designed and modern buildings, including the student residences, which provide accommodation for over 300 students.

Facilities include spacious classrooms and seminar rooms, extensive playing fields, a modern well-equipped sports hall and a spacious dining area and student canteen.
The grounds and gardens are beautifully landscaped providing an ideal learning environment for both adult and junior students. Visitors to Marino will enjoy and appreciate the quietness and the sense of tranquillity that the grounds and gardens offer.

The Marino Campus provides excellent facilities for students for their activities after class.
These facilities include:

  • a spacious indoor gymnasium
  • extensive playing fields for outdoor sports and games
  • student common rooms for recreation and activities

On-campus activities include the following:
Football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, table tennis, badminton etc. Hip-Hop Dancing, Irish Music, Irish Dancing Lessons, Arts and Crafts, Drama, African Drumming, Movies, Salsa, Table Quiz and Treasure hunts.
