Description

1 – 3 weeks
20 lessons of Spanish per week + 3-day course leading to the PADI certificate for dives of up to 30 meters.
Timetable of Spanish lessons: from Monday to Friday, classes normally take place from 09.30 to 13.30, with a 20-minute break taken halfway through the morning.
All dives and other activities are programmed so as not to clash with the Spanish lessons taken in the mornings.
Levels of Spanish: from elementary to advanced
The average number of students per group is 3 to 4, with a maximum of just 8.

The course includes a programme of cultural and social activities that take place in the afternoons and evenings.
On the first day of the course, if you have any prior knowledge of Spanish you have both an oral and a written entry test so that your level can be ascertained and you can be placed in the most appropriate group.  The test normally takes around 40-60 minutes (depending on your level).
At the end of your course, you will be given a certificate, which indicates the number of hours you have studied with us and the level of ability you have reached.

At the end of our intensive Spanish courses, we offer all our students the chance to take the Cambridge BULATS exam FREE of charge.
The Spanish BULATS test has been developed and is delivered by Cambridge English Language Assessment and the University of Salamanca (Spain). Results are linked to the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), the standard benchmark used internationally to describe language ability. BULATS (the Business Language Testing Service) is a system of tests that assesses the communication skills needed for real business situations.

Advanced Diving Course
This is a 2-3 day course that leads to the PADI certificate for dives up to 30 meters.
The course includes sessions on the theoretical aspects of diving and 5 ocean dives. The ocean dives include: 1 navigation dive, 1 deep dive, and 3 optional dives (photography, video, wreck dives, night dives, etc.).
All dives and other activities are programmed so as not to clash with the Spanish lessons taken in the mornings.

NOTE A pre-requisite for taking Course B is the PADI Open Water Course certificate (see Intensive Spanish + Diving Course for beginners) or equivalent.

Additional dives are available: booking on site for additional charge (Playa del Carmen 69 US$, Cenote 110 US$, Cozumel 85 US$ + 25 US$ for ferry trip).
