The International Junior Summer School takes place every summer from June to August with English courses, sports activities and cultural trips for juniors, teenagers, adolescents, young learners and high school students from around the world. Run as an English language summer camp, it is a great opportunity for younger students/teenagers to improve their English and grow to love the language by living it.

The young teens stay with host families within walking distance of the schools and attend English classes and participate in various activities. The course is designed to ensure students benefit in full from the programme and acquire a natural interest in improving their English in a lively and enjoyable environment. The School can guarantee an exciting, fun and rewarding summer.

Language classes: All students are given a written test on their first day to determine their level of English. The test consists of 25 multiple choice questions. Students are then placed in a class at the appropriate level. On finishing their course, students are given a Student Exit Report detailing their academic progress. Lessons are interesting and motivating - the main aim is to teach students to communicate fluently and not to be afraid of expressing their ideas in a foreign language.

All our Summer School students are given 3 month's access to our E-Learning Portal and we encourage students to continue their studies through this media after leaving the college.

Clothing
: Ireland’s weather can be varied, even in the summer and there are often showers (light rain). We advise students to bring mostly summer clothing, but also a few jumpers, a rain jacket and an umbrella.

Please find a sample activity programme here.

We can also offer you combine English Language Program with sports such as sailing or golf in the same School.
