Description

3 or 6 weeks

5 - 10 students per class
Number of lessons: 30 (45 min. each) per week
Levels: A1 (elementary 1) to C2 (advanced 2)

Supervision 24 hours per day

The lessons are especially structured and designed for adolescent students: they are interactive and fun, yet at the same time demanding and very effective.
Language Levels
We offer up to 7 different language levels, from total beginners to very advanced, or, according to the European Framework of Reference, levels A1-C2.
Class Size
Our classes usually consist of 5-10 students. With such a small size we make sure that individual attention is given to every single course participant. As we focus very much on the communicative approach of the language we ensure to make every student talk and participate, while of course not neglecting the grammatical aspect of the language.
Tests
All course participants take a weekly exam which covers all the course content taught the preceding week, so that students and teachers alike can assess the progress made in the German language.
Homework
Our teenagers are also expected to do some homework every day, yet they will still have plenty of time for extracurricular activites.

Munich's great leisure opportunities
Munich offers a multitude of leisure opportunities (sights, museums, parks, cultural events etc) which our counselors will include in the daily program. The old part of the city is the busiest spot, while oases of peace like the English Garden or the common greens along the Isar River offer inviting locations for private outings in the sun.

Leisure facilities at the youst hostel
The Don Bosco youth hostel is designed especially for the needs of young people: there are ample athletic facilities (indoor and outdoor) available to the students, where they can play soccer, volleyball and basketball. A large indoor swimming pool, a gym (fitness room) and a climbing wall are among everybody’s favorites, and a bowling alley, ping-pong, football and pool tables, as well as a party room ensure fun evenings in the group. Internet access is also provided. Tennis courts are located just a few minutes away; their use is not included in the course fees, however (i.e., there is an extra charge).
