2 - 8 weeks
5 - 10 students per class
Number of lessons: 30 (45 min. each) per week
School days : Monday to Friday
Levels: A1 (elementary 1) to B2 (intermediate 2) For total beginners please find the course with suitable starting dates here.
The lessons are especially structured and designed for adolescent students: they are interactive and fun, yet at the same time demanding and very effective.
Class Size
Our classes usually consist of 5-10 students. With such a small size we make sure that individual attention is given to every single course participant. As we focus very much on the communicative approach of the language we ensure to make every student talk and participate, while of course not neglecting the grammatical aspect of the language.
All course participants take a weekly exam which covers all the course content taught the preceding week, so that students and teachers alike can assess the progress made in the German language.
Our teenagers are also expected to do some homework every day, yet they will still have plenty of time for extracurricular activites.
Large variety of leisure activities
Our students will find that the town of Bad Fredeburg offers a large variety of leisure activities. In the “Akademie” itself there is an auditorium with a stage for plays and parties, a lawn that serves as a playground, a gymnasium for volleyball, basketball, soccer etc., a campfire and barbecue site, a party room and a summer terrace, as well as ping-pong and darts - everything our students need to have a good time, no matter what the weather is like.
Soccer practice
An optional soccer practice will be held in the month of July. It is entrusted into the hands of a fully accredited and licensed coach. At the end of the program, matches against teams from the surrounding areas will be held, where our students may prove on the pitch that they have truly incorporated winning strategies.
Mountain biking
Students who love mountain biking or a leisurely ride on their bike will enjoy the “Bike Arena Sauerland,” a huge array of bike tracks that clearly indicate which track is suitable for which user, the athletic or the leisurely type. Of course, we provide mountain bikes to our students free of charge and also organize bicycle trips for them.
