Our Teachers
Many of our teachers have lived and worked as teachers abroad and have first-hand knowledge of other cultures, customs and traditions. Teaching staff are guided by the centre’s Director of Studies who is a well-qualified and experienced ELT professional.
Overseeing all the centres is the Target English International Academic Manager and Academic Management Team who are responsible for inductions, syllabus design, quality control and the continued professional development of our teachers. Our structure allows us to maintain a consistently high standard of provision across our centres.

Trinity Exam
All our students will take the Trinity GESE (Graded Examinations in Spoken English), usually during the last week of their course. The exam tests students’ ability in listening and speaking. It is a one-to-one oral exam with a native English-speaking examiner. There are 12 grades available so there is a grade to suit every candidate. Successful candidates will receive an official Trinity College certificate.

A varied activity programme
Our activity programme is specifically designed with teenagers in mind.  We offer a wide range of on-site activities, local visits and excursions that we believe teenagers will find appealing.   We constantly strive to come up with new and innovative ideas such as ‘Drama Workshops’, ‘Band Night’ and ‘Street Dance Classes’.
We also believe an important aspect of the activity programme is for our students to learn something about the local history and culture of the area in which they are staying. As such, the main emphasis of our daytime programme is on escorted full and half-day excursions and local visits to places of historic and cultural interest.  In addition, we also offer a range of daytime sports and recreational activities on campus.
We aim to encourage students to use their English as much as possible on activities, either through integration with staff and other students, and also through maximum exposure to authentic language during off-site visits and excursions.
